Kinetic Cinemas Ticketing App - Student Project
I recently completed the Google UX Professional Certificate, looking to expand my design skills into the UX/UI field. For this course I created a movie ticketing app for an fictional movie theater company, which for this project I named "Kinetic". The core task for the app is for users to easily find and purchase movie tickets, and it also has other cool features for movie-goers, like custom recommendations, ratings, and movie related content such as news and articles.

A lot of time on this project was allocated to research, UX design, and testing, but I took the opportunity to craft a simple brand identity. Take a look at the full case sudy if you wish or jump ahead a little to the visual designs.

Brand Identity
I wanted to provide the project with a little bit of visual structure to go along with the UX Design, so I decided to craft a simple logo, color palette, and visual system that enriched the app design.

Low Fidelity Wireframes
After the low-fidelity wireframes, I ran an unmoderated usability study with 5 participants representative of the target audience. After that I refined the deisgn and started developing some high-fidelity mockups.
